Ensuring Communication

Performance Criterion Description:

The observer ensures that weather observations and related imminent hazards to aviation are communicated through dissemination systems.

Scenario:       

During an assessment period the observer is asked to provide weather observations and ensure their communication through the appropriate dissemination systems.

Evidence:

The observer ensures communication of weather information and related hazards to aviation through

• knowledge and skilful uses of dissemination systems
• knowledge and skilful use of alternative dissemination systems
• ensuring information has been communicated
