Observer double-checks accuracy and content of observation

Performance Criterion Description:

As part of the observing process, the observer re-checks all aspects of the observation before issuance

Scenario:       

During an assessment period the observer is seen to re-check all parts of the observation prior to its issuance.    

Evidence:

The observer follows a consistent process to ensure accuracy and content of observations 

• the observer verifies that all necessary components of the observation have been included 
• the observer re-checks parameters just prior to transmitting the observation, most notably altimeter setting, wind, cloud ceiling, visibility, present weather
