Observing supplementary information

Performance Criterion Description:

The observer accurately evaluates and monitors wind shear, density altitude and other significant parameters. 

Scenario:       

During an assessment period the observer is asked to apply knowledge and skill to evaluate and report on supplementary information.  

Evidence:

The observer must use knowledge and skill to:

• calculate density altitude
• evaluate wind shear
• correctly encode the type of phenomenon 
• correctly report location of the phenomena
• correctly report recent weather
• other parameters
