Observing winds, wind shear, variability and gusts
The observer can accurately evaluate wind speed, wind direction, variability, gusts and shear conditions where applicable.
Scenario:
During an assessment period the observer is asked to apply their knowledge and skill in order to observe and to evaluate winds.
Evidence:
The observer must use appropriate instrumentation and technique to accurately observe and evaluate winds
